As the newest member on the Ministry of Education school sports calendar, taekwondo was showcased at the launching of the National School Games at Raffles Institution. 

1 December 2008 was a red-letter for some of the Assisi Taekwondo Warriors.  It was a day they did their parents and for some both their parents and grandparents proud. 

“It is out of this world,” said Sarah Hayes, a taekwondo exponent from United States of America.

“My sons cannot stop talking about it.  The performances were fantastic,” said Dicky Bong, a member of the Team gOLD.

The Korea Festival 2008 comprising all aspects of Korean culture – from traditional to contemporary – will kick off on 1 November 2008.  There will be eight events.  Five of which are designed to appeal to a wider audience.

The fantastic Assisi Taekwondo Warriors led by Sister Linda Sim were at it again.  This time they wowed the officials and guests who attended the Charity Dinner on 25 January 2008 at Pan Pacific Hotel.
