The taekwondo activities managed by the Singapore Taekwondo Federation for the Youth Olympics Games Cultural & Educational Programme were very popular among the visitors.

9 players and a coach from Singapore were among 272 young athletes and officials from 25 countries who participated in the 2^nd World Youth  Taekwondo Camp.  The annual event held from 26 July to 31 July 2010 was jointly organized by the World Taekwondo Federation and the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation (TPF).   

The Singapore Taekwondo Federation is delighted to announce the appointment of its President, Mr Milan Kwee, as a member of the Executive Board of Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters.

In the recent release of World-ranking players by the World Taekwondo Federation, another player from Singapore joined the roll of honor.

Jacqueline Quek Jie Lin earned her world ranking when she finished third in the Asian Martial Arts Games held in Bangkok, Thailand in August 2009.  She is ranked 48^th in the under 73kg for the women category.
