Please be reminded the notice of STF Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) 2024 to held in person on 9 June 2024 (Sunday) at 7.30pm at the STF new office 7 Bedok North Street 2, Singapore 469646 has been announced on 25 May 2024 on STF website. 2. Affiliate member or authorised delegate attending the EGM has to submit the completed Delegate Registration Form. Please email it to stkdf.agm@gmail.com with the subject title “STF EGM 2024: (Affiliate’s name)” latest by 6.00 pm, Monday, 3 June 2024 to register your attendance for EGM.
3. Please note registered affiliate members and delegates are required to bring their ID to attend the EGM. Affiliate members and delegates without registration and/or ID, will not be allowed to attend the event. In addition, no replacement of delegates will be permissible.
4. Your understanding and co-operation on this matter is appreciated. Thank you.

Fund Raising for “One Team Singapore Fund (OSTF) STF High Performance Programmes”

The One Team Singapore Fund (OTSF) was launched by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth in 2017 to encourage support for the High-Performance Sport System in Singapore.

On this milestone occasion as STF celebrates its 50th anniversary, STF would like to fund raise for OTSF STF High Performance Programmes through the sales of dinner tables. The fund raised will be used to support our athletes in their trainings and competitions. Each
dinner table starts at S$5,000* and it comes with 10 seats for guests and free flow of beer.

To develop and promote this innovative version of taekwondo and excite the youth and likewise the masters, the STF Virtual Taekwondo (VTKD) Committee welcomes affiliated members/taekwondo athletes to be on board as VTKD Technical Officials and training will be provided.

The technical officials comprise Game Master (GM) and Technical Support Personnel (TS) who are key to the smooth operation of the VTKD in additional to referees. The technical officials will be trained on the game’s system and the technology used, setting up the gameplay and understanding of the rules of taekwondo and their application to VTKD games.

The Game Master is the main controller of gameplay and he/she enforces the rules of the game, taking appropriate action when rules are violated. The Technical Support Personnel is responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issue that the athlete may encounter on the field of play (FOP). Training will commence from 3rd week of April 2024 onwards in preparation for the championships.

If you have strong interest to learn and contribute to the growth of a new sport, VTKD, aged 13 to beyond 80, we are happy to hear from you. Tech savvy is a plus but not a must. Please email your name, name of affiliated club and contact number to stfvtc@gmail.com the soonest.
