Singapore has once again proven that we punch well above our weight on the global stage. World Taekwondo has released the results of the 2026 MNA (Member National Associations) Governance and Performance Review, and the news is stellar: Singapore is ranked 17th in the world!
This second edition of the comprehensive review evaluated national associations across five rigorous pillars. Namely, Governance, Participation, Performance, Events, Sustainability.
A Legacy of Excellence
Our climb from 54th to the 17th spot this year is impressive and a testament to the tireless work happening behind the scenes. This achievement isn’t just for the record books; it’s a win for every administrator, committee member, coach, seniors, referee, athlete, parent, and volunteer who contributes to our vibrant ecosystem.
Every policy and plan drafted, every event organised and every podium success is never an easy task but with the tremendous support from the entire Singapore Taekwondo community we continue to soar higher, not just locally, but globally. As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to pushing even higher, driven by the spirit of “One Team, One Taekwondo.”
Congratulations to the Singapore Taekwondo community! Let’s keep the momentum going as we aim even higher.
