In view of the overwhelming response to the 9th National Taekwondo Poomsae Championships 2015, the Management Commitee, in its meeting on 21 July 2015, has decided to change the competition format from the usual cut-off system featuring preliminaries, semi-finals and finals to combining the preliminary and the semi-final rounds.
If there are 9 or more contestants in the category, all contestants will compete as semi-finalists. Therefore, they will perform the semi-final poomsae – Keumgang. The final poomsae, Taeback, reminds unchanged.
The Tournament Chairman is working out a new schedule for contestants to report at the competition venue. Please look out for it on this website!
