Event : Olympic eSports (Virtual Taekwondo) Finals Selections 2023

This Open Selections 2023 is to select 8 athletes to participate in the Olympic eSports
Finals that will be held in June 2023 in Singapore. All affiliates are invited to participate in
the open trials by nominating up to 1 male athlete and 1 female athlete.
SELECTION TRIAL
All participants must be SINGAPORE CITIZENS and are Singapore Taekwondo Federation
(STF) Poom or Black belt holders between the age of 14 to 17 years old. Taekwondo Athletes
who had competed in Youth Olympic Games 2010 which was held in Singapore are also eligible.
For avoidance of doubt, the participants between the age of 14 to 17 years old must be born in or
between 2006 and 2009.
All affiliates are required to complete and submit the attached forms in the Annexes and
email to Secretariat at stkdf@mail.com by Wednesday, 19 April 2023, 6.00PM (GMT +8)
- National Selection Trials (To be completed by Affiliates)
- Athletes Undertaking Form and Parental Consent Form (To be completed by Athlete
and parent of athlete who are below 21 years)
The trials would only be open for observation by the registered accompanying coaches (must
be Level 2 qualified).
Upon submission of the relevant forms, more information will be sent to you by
Tuesday,25 April 2023. In the event if you did not receive the documents, please reach
out to the Secretariat at stkdf@mail.com.
Individuals who are unwell, on Leave of Absence, Stay-Home Notice or contagious diseases
should not attend the event.
Please note that no photography and video recording shall be allowed.

The panel of selectors will be nominated by the STF Selections Committee.
