IMPORTANT INFORMATION
For Foundation to R2, grading can only be done by qualified Grading Assessors who have successfully completed the Grading Assessor Accreditation Course and have applied for a valid Assessor licence.
- Submission for the Grading can only be at the STF office during office hours.
Please ensure that ALL grading cards are properly completed and duly endorsed. A recent photograph of the candidate must be attached
- For ALL candidates who are going for 1st Dan/Poom & above, please have the following documents during submission:
a) Candidate’s grading card
b) 1 recent IC / passport photograph of the candidate
c) Form B (duly completed)
Submission will not be accepted if any of the documents is not available or, for Form B, partially completed.
- Submission will not be accepted if candidate fails to produce any of the documents mentioned above.
- The last day of submission (Junior Red 1 & above, Senior Red 1 to 3rd Dan) is on 24 Sept 2024 (Tuesday). Any submission after this date will be considered as LATE SUBMISSION.
- Late submissions for candidates taking Red 1 & above are to be done within two (2) weeks from 25 Sept 2024 (Wednesday). Submission beyond the grace period of two (2) weeks WILL NOT be accepted. An administrative fee will be charged accordingly for late submission within grace period. The charges are as follows:

GRADING DEPARTMENT
- A roll call will be taken at 1.30pm for Red 1 (Senior) candidates going for 1st dan and 2.30pm for 1st dan and higher candidates. Those who miss the roll call will be considered as ABSENT or LATECOMERS. Latecomers will not be graded.
- Candidates are to turn up in proper dress code (as stipulated by the STF) for the grading. Candidates who fail to comply with the dress code will not be allowed to take the grading.
- Supplementary Grading can only be conducted two (2) weeks before or after the Centralised Grading and will be subjected to the approval of the Grading Department.
- While STF will take reasonable measures to ensure the safety of the grading procedure, Candidates will take all reasonable steps to ensure their own safety at all times and will not hold the Federation, the Grading Department or any of its servants, employees or agents responsible for any such injuries, accidents or mishaps that may befall on them during the course of the grading.

SUPPLEMENTARY GRADING
- For clubs that wish to conduct supplementary grading for Junior 1st Poom to 4th Poom, a minimum number of 25 candidates is required.
- Please register with the STF Secretariat by 24 September 2024 (Tuesday).
- An examiner will be assigned by the Federation after the closing date.
COLOUR BELTS
- The last day of submission for colour belts (club grading) is on 8 November 2024 (Friday). Any submission after this date will be considered as LATE SUBMISSION.
- An administrative fee of SGD 5.00 will be charged for late submission of candidates taking all other grades except Brown 1 & above
SENIOR 4TH DAN & ABOVE
- The schedule of the grading will be announced after the closing date.
- For those that are doing feats (senior 5th and 6th Dan), please submit to the grading department via email (stf.grading@gmail.com) on what you are going to perform for your feats before 18 Oct 2024 (Friday).
- For the thesis component, candidates have to submit their thesis latest by 15 Nov 2024 (Friday). Thesis have to be emailed in to stf.grading@gmail.com
- The last day of submission for Senior 4th Dan & above is on 18 Oct 2024

Please be reminded the STF 47th AGM 2024 will be held on Sunday, 15 September 2024 at 7.30pm at STF, 7 Bedok North Street 2, Singapore 469646.
Please be informed there will be an election for SIX (6) Board Member positions at this year’s AGM instead of five Board Members announced on 8 August 2024. This is due to resignation of one Board Member after the announcement.
Eligible nominees are encouraged to stand for election. Detailed nomination information will be made available closer to the AGM date.

Singapore Open Kyorugi Championships 2024

The registration for Singapore Open Kyorugi Championships 2024 is open from 12th August to 29th August (1600hr), competition is open for Cadet and above (Age 12 and above) black belters.
Affiliates that are keen to register may submit your registration to tournament.stf@gmail.com and stkdf@mail.com within the registration period.
Only e-registration submission (Appended excel form) is accepted.

Singapore Taekwondo Federation Fund-Raising Campaign for Virtual Taekwondo
“Be involved in the world first Virtual Taekwondo championship.”
- The Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) is promoting and developing Virtual Taekwondo (VTKD) in Singapore to increase participation in the sport as well as development of the sport pathway. Concurrently this enables people of all ages, diverse backgrounds and ethnicities to participate, compete, volunteer and interact through virtual sports.
- The STF is privileged to be staging “Singapore 2024 World Taekwondo Virtual Championships” on 16 and 17 November 2024 at Singapore Sports Hub OCBC Arena.
- Virtual Taekwondo is a technological innovation with athletes engaging in virtual reality battles and fighting against the avatar of their opponents. It is non-contact sparring unlike Kyorugi Taekwondo and promises to be fast paced and exciting for athletes, spectators and online viewers. Athletes and officials across the globe will be in Singapore together with our aspiring athletes to vie for the inaugural world virtual taekwondo title.
- The STF Organising Committee hopes to raise about $250,000 by 15 November 2024 through this fund-raising campaign. The funds raised will be utilised for the promotion and development of VTKD and the staging of this international sporting event featuring virtual taekwondo.
- Your support and generous contribution will make an enormous difference to this world event and our athletes. We look forward to your generosity and goodwill to help us and Singapore stage the augural world first Virtual Taekwondo Championships!
