1st Para-Taekwondo Division at 16th National Poomsae Ambassador Championships 2023

At the recent 16th National Poomsae Ambassador Championship 2023, a transformative moment unfolded as two aspiring athletes took their inaugural steps onto the competitive stage. In extending gratitude to those who made this journey possible, special mention must be given to Ms Ami, Principal of Lighthouse school, Mr Kumaran Arumugam, Teacher of Physical Education Department, Ms Eve and Mr Rosman, Teacher ICs of Taekwondo CCA. Mr Kumaran Arumugam also shared his views: ‘I would like to firstly thank the Singapore Taekwondo Federation for organizing and creating opportunities for para athletes to compete on the same platform as the other athletes. I strongly believe that more para athletes will come forward to participate in such events and more organizers will work together as a community in making sports inclusive for all. ‘
