National Development Squad (NDS) Open Selection Boot Camp 2026
The Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) would like to thank the participating affiliates, athletes and coaches for being part of the National Development Squad (NDS) Open Selection Boot Camp 2026 conducted from 10 to 17 January 2026. We congratulate those who have been selected to the 2026 National Programme as part of the NDS (Poomsae and Kyorugi). Please refer to the 2026 National Kyorugi and National Poomsae squad lists (Annex 2 and 3). The new inductees to the 2026 NDS (Tier C) indicated as “NEW”.
In accordance with the STF NDS 2026 Selection Policy, paragraph on “APPEALS FOR REVIEW FOR NON-SELECTION MATTERS” stated “Candidates may submit an appeal for review within TWO (2) days of the official announcement of the selection results on the STF Website to the STF Secretariat at stkdf@mail.com.” For avoidance of doubt, the appeal shall be submitted to stkdf@mail.com latest by Friday, 6 February 2026, 2359 hrs, if the candidate/club wishes to appeal.
For Foundation to Red 2, grading can only be done by qualified Grading Assessors who have successfully completed the Grading Assessor Accreditation Course and have applied for a valid Assessor licence.
Submission for the Grading can only be at the STF office during office hours.
Please ensure that ALL grading cards are properly completed and duly endorsed. A recent photograph of the candidate must be attached
For ALL candidates who are going for 1st Dan/Poom & above, please have the following documents during submission: a) Candidate’s grading card b) 1 recent IC / passport photograph of the candidate c) Form B (duly completed)
Submission will not be accepted if any of the documents is not available or, for Form B, partially completed.
Submission will not be accepted if candidate fails to produce any of the documents mentioned above
The last day of submission (Junior Red 1 & above, Senior Red 1 to 3rd Dan) is on 24 March 2026 (Tuesday). Any submission after this date will be considered as LATE SUBMISSION.
Late submissions for candidates taking Red 1 & above are to be done within two (2) weeks from 25 March 2026 (Wednesday). Submission beyond the grace period of two (2) weeks WILL NOT be accepted. An administrative fee will be charged accordingly for late submission within grace period. The charges are as follows:

50% of the grading fee payable by candidates for their respective grades.
A roll call will be taken at 1pm for Red 1 (Senior) candidates going for 1st dan and 9am for 1st dan going for 2nd dan, 2nd dan going for 3rd dan. Those who miss the roll call will be considered as ABSENT or LATECOMERS. Latecomers will not be graded.
Candidates are to turn up in proper dress code (as stipulated by the STF) for the grading. Candidates who fail to comply with the dress code will not be allowed to take the grading.
Supplementary Grading can only be conducted two (2) weeks before or after the Centralised Grading and will be subjected to the approval of the Grading Department.
While STF will take reasonable measures to ensure the safety of the grading procedure, Candidates will take all reasonable steps to ensure their own safety at all times and will not hold the Federation, the Grading Department or any of its servants, employees or agents responsible for any such injuries, accidents or mishaps that may befall on them during the course of the grading,

SUPPLEMENTARY GRADING
1. For clubs that wish to conduct supplementary grading for Junior 1st Poom to 4th Poom, a minimum number of 25 candidates is required.
2. Please register with the STF Secretariat by 24 March 2026 (Tuesday).
3. An examiner will be assigned by the Federation after the closing date.
COLOUR BELTS
The last day of submission for colour belts (club grading) is on 11 May 2026 (Monday). Any submission after this date will be considered as LATE SUBMISSION.
An administrative fee of SGD 5.00 will be charged for late submission of candidates taking all other grades except Brown 1 & above.
SENIOR 4TH DAN & ABOVE
1. The schedule of the grading will be announced after the closing date.
2. For those that are doing feats (senior 5th and 6th Dan), please submit to the grading department via email (stf.grading@gmail.com) on what you are going to perform for your feats before 24 March 2026 (Tuesday).
3. For the thesis component, candidates have to submit their thesis latest by 4 May 2026 (Monday). Thesis have to be emailed in to stf.grading@gmail.com
4. The last day of submission for Senior 4th Dan & above is on 24 March 2026 (Tuesday).

The following brands of standard taekwondo uniforms have been approved by the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) for the period 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2026. Poomsae uniforms will also be allowed for the said period provided the vendors have their design approved by STF.
Please note that the “Wacoku (Champ)” brand uniforms has not been available for sale since November 2025 and no Wacoku (Champ) uniforms should have been sold from the expiry of the contract. Participants who had purchased the Wacoku (Champ)-brand uniforms before November 2025 can continue to use Wacoku (Champ) uniform for official STF events (including but not limited to courses and competitions) for 1 (one) year from the date of the expiring of the contract, i.e. the last day that such uniforms can be used would be 31 October 2026.
During this period (until the last day), the Wacoku (Champ) logos can be displayed for official STF events.
Fila Brand
Please note that the “Fila” brand uniforms has not been available for sale since February 2026 and no Fila uniforms should have been sold from the expiry of the contract. Participants who had purchased the Fila-brand uniforms before February 2026 can continue to use Fila uniform for official STF events (including but not limited to courses and competitions) for 1 (one) year from the date of the expiring of the contract, i.e. the last day that such uniforms can be used would be 31 January 2027.
During this period (until the last day), the Fila logos can be displayed for official STF events.
Victory (Mudoin) Brand
Please note that the “Victory (Mudoin)” brand uniforms have not been available for sale since November 2024. Victory (Mudoin)-uniforms are no longer permitted for official STF events from 31 October 2025.

Requirements: -Minimum 1st Dan STF / Kukkiwon certificate -Coaching certification and relevant experience will be an added advantage -Ability to instruct, demonstrate and correct all color belts. Able to perform the same for black belt poomsae will be an added advantage. -Candidates without teaching experience are welcome to apply.

Working Location: Upper Thomson or Ang Mo Kio Salary will be commensurate with experience and discussed upon interview.
