STF would like to reiterate the importance for all coaches and affiliate owners to ensure the affiliate’s grading are done in accordance with the guidelines set.
Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action taken against the Affiliate and / or the STF Qualified Grading Assessor.
Guideline for STF Grading Assessors / Affiliate Owners:
Details on the conduct of grading (including the date, time, venue, name of assessor) must be submit to STF at least 1 week in advance. Failure to do so may result in action taken against the affiliate and / or the assessor.
After the grading is conducted, grading results must be submitted to STF office within 2 weeks. STF Secretariat will tally with the grading results provided before approving the results on the grading cards. Failure to do so may result in action taken against the affiliate and / or the assessor.
Signature on the grading cards by the qualified STF Grading Assessor will be checked against the specimen signature provided by the STF Grading Assessors.
All gradings performed must be attached with the Grading Information Slip to indicate the details of grading assessed, i.e. number of students graded, date and time. This form may be retrieved from the STF website.

If an affiliate does not have any member who is able to fulfil the Grading Assessor licence application criteria, the affiliates may seek the assistance of any licensed assessor to grade their dojang students from the grade of Foundation to R2.
If the affiliate is unable to engage the assistance of any licensed assessor, the affiliate may write to STF to engage the service (payable) of STF’s examiner.
