As part of supporting the National Sporting Agenda, the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) conducts annual Open Selection trials to identify promising athletes to participate in the national squad training as part of developing the pool of High Performance talents to prepare for international tournaments and championships. 

This Open Selections 2023 will be conducted by the High Performance Committee (HPC) to recruit new members with the intent to field participants for international games in 2023. All affiliates are invited to participate in the open trials for both Kyorugi and Poomsae events.

Please refer to the attached information pack together with the necessary forms for submission regarding the Open Selection Trials 2023.

This event will be held in conjunction with the Selections for SEA Games 2023. This concurrent Selections will only be for shortlisted candidates from the National Development Squad (NDS) of 2022. 

Singapore Taekwondo Federation is pleased to announce that the 45th AGM was held on Saturday, 24 September 2022 at 2.00PM with 4 Board members elected by 63 out of 82 voting members. The 4 Board members are

• Mr Tan Cheng Hui (re-elected)
• Mr Wong Zhen Kang

They join Mr Koh Choon Seng, David, Mr Lai Han Seng, Mr Lee Thiam Poh, Andy, Mr Johnny Lim Peng Siah and Mr Lee Yew Jin, Sebastian to form the new Board. We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Office Bearers of the Federation as follows.
