Notice is hereby given that the Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM’) of the Singapore Taekwondo Federation will be held by electronic means on Saturday, 11 June 2022 at 1400hrs.

We are pleased to announce our continued partnership and collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Singapore, in promoting Taekwondo and the rich Korean culture.
The 15th National Taekwondo Poomsae Championships 2022 – Ambassador Cup will be help on 23 – 24 July 2022 at Our Tampines Hub, Level 3 Community Auditorium.
Registration will open on Monday 20 June 2022 to Friday 24 June 2022 at the STF Secretariat during office hours (9.00am to 5.00pm – closed for lunch from 1.00pm to 2.00pm).

The National Team (Kyorugi) athletes comprise of the following athletes who competed at the Tay Ho Gymnasium on 17 and 18 May 2022.

U54 – Keston Pang Ghim Weng (Sports Team)
U63 – Dylan Chia Hao (Sportif Taekwondo)
Female Category
U46 – Isabel Felipa Rivas (JH Kim Taekwondo – Bukit Timah) – Bronze Medal
U53 – Nichelle Tan Ying Xuan (Johan Taekwondo – Thomson) – Bronze Medal
This brings a total of 3 Bronze Medals for Team Singapore Taekwondo. STF is very proud of the National Team for their performance and achievement.
The federation would also like to take this opportunity to recognise the dedication and hard work of the coaching team together with all the support from the wider community to making this possible!
Team Singapore Taekwondo departed on 14 May 2022 for the 31st Southeast Asian Games at Hanoi, Vietnam. Led by Team Manager Mr Johnny Lim Peng Siah, Kyorugi Coach Mr Ko Jae Pil and Poomsae Coach Ms Lee Na Lee.

SNOC’s president Mr Tan Chuan Jin accompanied by 31st South East Asian Games chef de mission Mr S Sinnathurai and SNOC’s Assistant Secretary-General Mr. Edmund Lim visited the team to congratulate our athletes on their winning.
Following the Poomsae Event will be the Kyorugi Event happening on 17th & 18th May 2022.
ActiveSG and Singapore Taekwondo Federation in the spirit of “Bring Sport Back and to encourage all Singaporeans to stay active is organizing the ActiveSG Taekwondo Fiesta demonstration competition to provide more opportunities for all to partake in sports competition on a regular basis.

Attire : STF approved Dobok Equipment : KPNP head gear and chest protector
Athletes have to bring their own personal equipment which can include foot protectors. STF will be providing KP&P foot protector for Athletes without the KP&P foot protector.
For equipment provided by STF during the trial, we will sanitize and clean the equipment after each use. For foot protector, please bring your own due to hygiene purposes and to minimize sharing of equipment.

Equipment : Athletes to bring own sound track and sound system (i.e. phone + speakers)
Please note that due to capacity and safety measures only athletes participating in the event with their accompanying coach can enter the National Training Centre. For athletes without any opponent, please also report to National Training Centre during the event day
