PHYSICAL CLOSURE OF THE STF OFFICE FROM 28 February 2022

Dear affiliates,

Please note that the Federation office will be closed from 28 February 2022, Monday till 4 March 2022, Friday. The Federation office will resume normal operations on 7 March 2022.

For members visiting the office from 7 March 2022 onwards will have to schedule an appointment and the maximum time allocated will be 30 minutes. We seek your understanding and cooperation to keep the community safe.

We would like to assure everyone that our daily administrative operations will remain uninterrupted, as the Secretariat will be working from home to provide our normal support services to the STF fraternity.

Dear all,
Due to the overwhelming response to the 19 – 20 February 2022 Poomsae Coach Course Level 1, the Federation will host another run of the course on 26 – 27 February 2022.


The Poomsae Referee Course, which was originally scheduled on 26 – 27 February 2022 will be defer to 12 – 13 March 2022.
Kyorugi Referee Course will on from 18 – 20 March 2022.


Participants who have passed the Poomsae coach course is encourage to sign up for the upcoming Poomsae Referee course subject to slots availability.


Adhering to Safe Management Measures, all courses will be run at a maximum capacity of 25 participants per course on a first come first serve basis. Applicants that wish to participate in the course after the maximum capacity has been met will be put on the waiting list and will inform you at the next possible chance.

– Tests *Participants must have 100% attendance to be eligible for the tests.

Dress Code:STF approved ‘Dobok’
Pre-RequisiteMinimum 1st Dan Black BeltPoomsae Knowledge until Taebaek (3rd Dan Poomsae)
  Tests:Theory and Practical tests will be conducted at the end of the Course
  Certification:Participants will be awarded Poomsae Coach Certificate (Level upon successfully completing the course.
  Fees:Closing date: Friday, 11 February 2022 – $74.90 After closing date – $117.70 *course fees inclusive of 7% GST
  Note:Slots are limited to 25 participants due to COVID-19 safe measurement management.

All Participants must be fully vaccinated according to requirement of MOH and for 2 weeks after the last vaccination(inclusive of booster shots). All Participants are to show proof of vaccination upon request. For those ineligible for vaccination will have to obtain a certificate from the doctors.

The Poomsae Referee course will be held as follow.

Award Ceremony for 2021 Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo World Championship

On 28 December 2021, 3 of our athletes who participated in the 2021 Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo World Championship were presented with their medals and a black belt by Ambassador Choi Hoon for their outstanding achievements.

The 3 athletes received their medals and donned the blackbelt presented by Ambassador Choi Hoon

The winners of the 2021 Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo World Championship are as follows:

– Gold Medal: Ms. Germaine Loi Jia Min (15 to 17 years old, Female Individual Poomsae)

– Silver Medal: Mr. Nicholas Adam Khaw (15 to 17 years old, Male Individual Poomsae)

– Bronze Medal: Mr. Lee Dongho (18 to 35 years old, Male Individual Poomsae)

The Singapore Taekwondo Federation would like to congratulate Germaine, Nicholas and Dong Ho for their stellar performances and for keeping the Singapore flag flying high on a global stage.

At the awards ceremony, Ambassador Choi Hoon congratulated the winners on their outstanding achievements, commenting that he was very glad to see Singapore win its first medals at the event. Ambassador Choi Hoon also expressed his appreciation

for the cooperation between the Korean Embassy and the Singapore Taekwondo Federation.
